The confirmed cast so far, plus the returning voices players are already listening for.

Confirmed Cast

The following actors were confirmed as part of God of War Laufey at the San Diego Comic-Con 2026 panel (July 24, Ballroom 20), where they appeared alongside Game Director Ariel Lawrence and Head of Creative Cory Barlog:

  • Deborah Ann Woll — Laufey (Faye), the lead
  • Chris Judge — Kratos, returning to the role he has voiced since 2018 (confirmed at SDCC 2026); Judge also continues as Kratos in the next mainline God of War game starring him
  • Jack Quaid — Phranque, Faye's newly introduced companion
  • Perlina Lau — Rue, the enchanted ribbon guardian tied to the legendary sword in the Everywhen

Likely Returning Cast

Based on who the reveal points toward, this returning actor remains a name to watch:

  • Sunny Suljic — Atreus / Loki (if the character appears)

Note: Sunny Suljic's return has not been officially confirmed for God of War Laufey.

Two Kratos, Two Actors

2026 gave the God of War franchise something it has never had before: two officially active Kratos voice actors at the same time. With the God of War Trilogy Remake announced in the February 2026 State of Play and a new mainline game starring Kratos confirmed at SDCC 2026, the role is now formally split between its two eras:

  • T.C. Carson — the original Greek-era Kratos (God of War 2005 through Ascension, 2013). Officially confirmed to return as Kratos in the God of War Trilogy Remake, announced in the February 2026 State of Play. Speaking at MegaCon 2026, Carson said the studio came back to him after realizing “they let me go prematurely”, and that he agreed to return after a dinner with Eric (Williams).
  • Christopher Judge — the Norse-era Kratos (God of War 2018 onward). Continues as Kratos in God of War Laufey (announced at SDCC 2026) and in the next mainline God of War game starring Kratos.

The division of labor is clean: Carson voices the remade Greek trilogy, Judge voices the new Norse-era and future games — two Kratos performances running in parallel across the franchise's two sagas.

Beyond the voice cast, the narrative leads behind God of War Laufey are confirmed via PlayStation Blog credits and the game's Wikipedia entry (August 2026 revision):
